2025 Matías Riccitelli 'Kung Fu' Criolla, Mendoza, Argentina | 750ml

Made from Criolla vines planted in the 1950s on a high altitude, pergola trained plot in Los Chacayes, Uco Valley. Native yeast fermentation and eight months resting in amphora produce a wine that pours a pale, almost translucent ruby. The nose is full of red currant, wild strawberry and cracked pepper, while the palate stays light and spicy with a stony, mineral edge that reflects the Andean foothills below the vines. Bottled without added sulfites, fining, or filtration, it's a juicy, energetic red built to be served with a slight chill.
