2021 brought severe frost to the Loire region destroying many vineyards. Frantz Saumon lost 80% of his production but was able to source some organic fruit from his good friend in Sûd Ouest. His Vin de Frantz made of a 100% Colombard, a grape used for Cognac, is tangy and thirst quenching with Granny Smith apple, lemon grass and fresh mineral laden acidity.
