Uramoto Nakimushi Hokkaido Sparkling NV
It’s 2022 when Tadayuki Uramoto finally established his own winery in Sorachi region, Hokkaido.
He studied biology at Hokkaido University, and traveled to France to learn winemaking. After graduation, he joined Sapporo Fujino Winery, where he worked as vinification manager.
The name of this cuvée “nakimushi” means crybaby in Japanese ( he has 4 children who cry a lot )
It has fresh and fruity aromas of Hassaku orange, apricot and peach. The palate is gentle and pleasant with ripe citrus and apricot flavors, framed by soft, fine bubbles and fresh acidity.
