Heya means 'She' in Arabic and is a representation and appreciation of women who work tirelessly in a male dominated industry to produce something they love, which in the case of Michelle Chami and Claudine Lteif is natural wines.
Heya is producing the first women made wines from indigenous Lebanese grapes. It has a social mission to drive pay equity for women harvest workers from Syria who are traditionally underpaid and undervalued.
Heya Wines is committed to four key values: women empowerment, equality, keeping it 100, and love for the environment. They represent these values in everything they do, from using real women harvest workers for their label images, to producing truly sustainable and organic wines.
