István Bencze's biodynamic Pinot Noir comes from Szent György-hegy, a popular hill above the north shore of Lake Balaton, Western Hungary. The uncrushed grapes were destemmed into open fermenters. After 10 days of skin contact, the grapes were gently pressed and racked using gravity into French barrel, stainless steel tanks and amphoras, and aged for 8 months. Bottled without fining, filtration, and no sulfur was added.
