Keltis Kelt NV
Varietal composition: Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%)
Region: Bizeljsko, Lower Styria, Slovenia.
Location of vineyards: 16-25 years, 350 meters above sea level, SW orientation.
Soil: Schist, clay and marlstone.
Harvest: Hand-picked, beginning of October.
Vinification: 14 days of maceration, with spontaneous fermentation. No added yeast, no filtration. Aging: 30 months in used oak 500L barrels, cherry barrels and new oak barrels.
A wine that impresses with its full, rich taste.
It is extremely soft and rich in the mouth, a small imposition of vine can be felt. The wine is a real concentrate.
It needs some air so decanting or Bordeaux type glass is recommended.
