Carignan and Grenache dominate the blend on this wine of deep concentrated black berried fruit, crystalline stone acidity and sculpted tannins. A whiff of wild scrubland herbs reinforces a Mediterranean feeling in this wine meant for a feast. Clos Fantine is a domain run by two sisters. They vinify their wines by parcel, feeding the grapes whole cluster into large concrete vats. the wine matures 18 months.
