Sauvignon Blanc was one of the first wines ever made from the Turley Estate, located in St. Helena of the Napa Valley back in 1993. Those vines have since been replaced by Zinfandel, but a small section of the estate was replanted to dry-farmed, head-trained Sauvignon Blanc from heritage Napa Valley budwood. These vines are certified organic. The grapes are harvested and fermented with native yeasts, then aged in a combination of neutral French Oak and concrete eggs.

Aromatically the wine has notes of green melons, ripe white grapefruit, citrus zest, and gravel dust. On the palate, the wine is surprisingly linear with a crushed stone minerality and a lingering hint of buttery pie crust.
