Light-bodied and smooth, still quite disjointed due to its young age, Macon-Villages offers simple pear flavor on mid-palate and a coarse minerality front end. The acidity is rather incisive, slightly astringent, undoubtedly under-ripe at the moment and the length is not top class. Simple nose of high toned, floral, rock salt, fresh lemon, pickled lemon with waxy frame.
