Diana Hawkins and Frank Lepera met in Chicago working in fine dining, and moved to New Zealand to pursue winemaking. An early picked, unoaked Chardonnay from Hawke's Bay's Bridge Pa Triangle, fermented wild in neutral barrel for texture without heaviness. Aromas of honeydew, meyer lemon, and crisp apple lead into a lean, mineral driven palate, with wet stone and a touch of white flower carrying through a fresh, zippy finish.
