Mal Bien Papalote Black Tape Calzada
An artisanal, uncertified mezcal from Don Refugio "Cuco" Calzada Hernández in Chilapa de Álvarez, Guerrero, made from wild Papalote agave. The agave is roasted for six days in an underground oven, fermented with spring water in wood vats, then double distilled in small copper pot stills and proofed down using puntas y colas rather than added water.
