About this wine

A skin-contact white from Patricia and Rémi Bonneton's La Tangente range, a whole-bunch co-maceration of Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne from limestone and clay vineyards in the Gard. It was pressed into old oak barrels and aged for 14 months, with native yeasts, no filtration or fining and no additions. Hazy and sandy gold in the glass, it shows intense apricot and pineapple with a peach iced tea quality, then stem ginger and clove spice and a long, herb-flecked finish. It is a 12.5% orange wine with a delicate tannic frame.
