2024 Domaine de la Cras Bourgogne Coteaux de Dijon Blanc Chardonnay, Burgundy, France | 750ml

Chardonnay grown on a city owned parcel at the northern edge of the Côte de Nuits, just outside Dijon, a stretch of Burgundy most people associate with Pinot Noir rather than white grapes. The nose opens with white peach and citrus zest, layered with chamomile and a touch of crushed stone. On the palate it's bright and precise, orchard fruit carried along by a chalky minerality and a saline, lingering finish that keeps pulling you back for another sip.
