Combe Bazin comes from a single vineyard of Chardonnay planted high on the steep slopes of Saint-Romain, where you find a lot of limestone amongst the clay. This is perhaps the domaine's most iconic wine and it is easy to see why. A Chardonnay of unusual purity and verve, this is already so open and detailed.
