The Crozes, from red clay soils with gravel and alluvial stones, is almost salty with notes of violets, olives, dill, blackberry and leather.This cuvée is one of the greatest wines of the Rhône valley, made from vines planted on a mythical hill overlooking the river. Syrah is here at its optimum with a nose full of red and black fruits, leather, musk, truffle, dry hay, cedar and cinnamon. A remarkable wine which we forget that it can also age.
