2022 Château Peyredon Lagravette Haut-Médoc Red Blend, Bordeaux, France

A classic left bank Bordeaux built on blackcurrant, black plum and ripe blackberry, with cedar, graphite, a touch of tobacco leaf and a hint of dried herbs. The palate is medium to full, with firm, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity that give it structure and a savory, lingering finish. It's approachable now with a little air and will keep developing for several more years.
