Chantereves Bourgogne Chardonnay 2021
Notes of yellow stone fruit, citrus zest, lemon cream, and crushed rocks dominate the wine’s mouth-coating palate.
Sourced entirely from Maranges. In the winery, it sees low SO2 additions, indigenous yeast fermentation, natural malolactic and 1 year aging in older oak barrels (228L). There is no bâtonnage, no fining, and only one light filtration.
Chanterêves is a husband and a wife team launched in 2010 by two oenologists, Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott. They are so called ‘négociant-vinificateur’ meaning that they buy grapes from winegrowers and vinify them to make their own wines.
