2024 Carboniste 'Gomes Vineyard' Albariño Extra Brut Sparkling, California, USA

The juice for this wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeast. After resting a few months in tank, the wine was bottled with fresh yeast and a small amount of sugar for fermentation (traditional method). The resulting sparkling wine was aged briefly prior to riddling and hand disgorging. The overall short aging of this wine ensures brightness and freshness that makes the wine really stand out. After a light dosage, the bottles were capped again in order to preserve the natural youth and freshness of the wine. We prefer crown caps as a final closure. They are safe and easy to open, and they are trusted across the world to age wines before disgorging (including Champagne!)
