Grape Variety Coda di Volpe
Cantina Giardino Volpe Rosa is a unique rosé made from the rare Coda di Volpe variety, grown on 75-year-old vines at 500 meters above sea level in the Irpinia region of Campania. The vineyards benefit from volcanic soils, contributing to the wine's minerality. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts after one day of skin contact. It is then aged for a year in a combination of sandstone amphorae and concrete vats, allowing the wine to develop complexity and texture without added sulfites.
Volpe Rosa displays complex flavors of blood orange, minerals, and a touch of spice, framed by faint tannins and vibrant acidity. Its brick color and lively freshness add to its appeal.
