Bonny Doon Vineyard Picpoul "Central Coast"

This wine is made of 88% Picpoul and 12% Vermentino. Picpoul literally translates to "lip stinger", and true to the name, the wine has a bright, bracing acidity and a unique savory  character.

Bonny Doon is practicing biodynamic and a majority of the Picpoul grapes in this wine come from the Beeswax Vineyard, found in the Arroyo Seco AVA of Monterey County, California, and coincidentally produce white grapes expressing aromas of...beeswax!
