A delicious, organically grown Freisa from the hills dividing Piedmont and Liguria. La Morella is a family estate and winery located in the Italian Piedmont region of Colli Tortonesi. The family have been grape farmers in the region since the early 1900's for many decades the were part of the regional co-op. When Enio Ferretti stepped into the head role of his family's estate in 1985, he decided to focus on estate wine and began the winery project. All vineyards are organically farmed and the wines are made with no added sulfur. Silky, with very smooth tannins and a long finish. Cranberries, cherries, blackberries & a smoky, leather minerality - light bodied with a slight effervescence.
