Alberto Buratti Bronsa Cuerta 2023
Type: Rosato
Grape: Pinot Noir, Corbinello
Region: Euganean Hills, Veneto, Italy
Style: Still, light-bodied, hazy, dry Flavor: Pink grapefruit, bitter herbs, fresh and pale — more textured than it looks
The bottle: Pinot Noir and Corbinello — a rare, near-extinct local variety — blended the following January in a 10-hectoliter barrel, rested until August bottling. Spontaneous fermentation, zero additives, unfined, unfiltered.
The producer: Alberto Buratti studied art history in Padua and Milan before taking over his grandfather's estate in Rovolon in 2019. He farms 4.5 hectares on marly limestone soils in the Euganean Hills, with vines up to 80 years old, working toward Demeter certification. The project is called FaeDesfa.
