Grown in cooler parts of Lower Austria, Gruner vines are chilled by the Danube as they sit in sunny red gravel & loess soils. Orange-gold in color with aromas of baked apple, lemon, wildflowers, soft spice and a trace of toast. Red apple, pear, nutmeg, and a drizzle of clover honey are framed by delicate green tea tannins and good acidity. Graham cracker, nutty bitterness, and lively minerality linger on the lengthy finish.
