Lammidia Rosh Abruzzo Red 2021
Young project born from the passion for wine of Marco Giuliani and David Dear . The company is located in the Gran Sasso National Park and Monti della Laga , the winery is perched about 600 meters from Civitella Casanova and Villa Celiera . It grows about 3 hectares of land that give rise today to about 15,000 bottles a year . The name comes from the dialect Lammidia , the ´ mmidia , the envy , the evil eye . In the peasant tradition veins removed with a prayer ritual to eliminate precisely lammidia of which even the wine could suffer. The wines are simply made "‹"‹with naturally fermented grapes, they are not added additional substances and are not made "‹"‹clarifications and filtrations.
Grape Varieties: Montepulciano 90%, Trebbiano 10%
Lots of barnyard on the nose - nice, tart, spicy palate - unripe red fruits, mushrooms and spicy tamarind candy - great acidity.
