Bodegas Hermanos Mesa Los Pelados Tenerife Valle de Guimar

Tenerife's Valle de Güímar sits near the base of Mount Teide, a dormant volcano that is the Atlantic Ocean's highest peak. The poor soils here give this cuvée its name. A dry white from 70-80 year old Listán Blanco vines on their own rootstock at 1300 meters altitude. Vinified and aged for 9 months in both used French oak barrels and stainless steel, this mineral and saline white will pair well with sanocho canario.
