Wasenhaus Spätburgunder Möhlin 2018
This Pinot Noir comes from the Ehrenstetter Ölberg, grown on shallow, limestone-rich clay soils with a warm southeast exposure. Fermented with two-thirds whole clusters, it begins with carbonic maceration before moving to traditional open-vat fermentation with gentle punch-downs. Aged for 16 months primarily in used French oak, it offers depth, freshness and an elegant, expressive character.
