The bottle: Two Premier Cru parcels in Pierry on chalk and flint soils. Direct press, cold settled, fermented in barrel and demi-muids, partial malolactic, 8 months oak aging, minimum 40 months on lees. Light filtration, no fining.

The producer: Brothers Quentin and Alexandre Tellier started their own label in 2016 from the family's vines — farmed organically since 1938. Vignes de Pierry is their single-village cuvee, blending power from the clay-chalk soils of Pierry with the freshness that only grower Champagne can deliver at this price.
