2025 Roberto Henríquez 'Rivera del Notro' Orange Wine, Biobío Valley, Chile | 750ml

Roberto Henríquez's skin-contact white is equal parts Sémillon, Corinto (Chasselas) and Moscatel from very old vines in the Biobío Valley of southern Chile. Farmed organically on granitic soils and hand-harvested, it is fermented spontaneously with native yeast. Dry and medium-bodied with delicate extraction, it is tense and tightly built, with striking minerality and salinity, dried mandarin, white flowers and a touch of sandalwood spice. At 12%, it is refreshing and savory, and a great match for empanadas.
