From 40 year-old vines in Les Fichots, which is one of Pernand-Vergelesses' original six premiers crus. Limestone and stony soils along with a flat slope make for an early ripening parcel. Whole cluster fermentation is used, and fermentation and aging take place in neutral barrel. Pair this medium-bodied, structured dry red with tsukune.
