Planted in the 1920s, these are the oldest vines in the Lucien Muzard collection. From nearly 100 year old vines, this Chassagne Rouge is bright, succulent and dominated by red fruits. A lovely wine that truly overdelivers. Pinot Noir is destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in tank. Aged in barrel, of which a max of 10% is new.

Aromas of ripe berries, musky spices, rich soil and dark chocolate, followed by a medium to full bodied, fleshy and ample palate that's framed by powdery tannins and juicy acids, concluding with a delicately herbal-inflected finish
