From a half-hectare premier cru parcel of sand and gravel soils. Silkier in texture, but with an animalistic leather backdrop that perfectly complements the ripe black fruit and spice. Not quite a tannery, more like the inside of a vintage sports car. Or the jacket of a pipe smoking professor on whom you have an innocent crush.
