2023 Einhart 'Albermohn' Rouge Pinot Noir, Alsace, France

100% Pinot Noir from shallow clay and limestone soils in northern Alsace, where the roots stay in the top 40 centimeters. Stewed red fruits, pepper and almond come with an intense aromatic core, silky tannins and plenty of freshness. The grapes are destemmed, aged in large oak vessels and bottled with no added sulfur. It is 12.5% and best served at 16 to 18°C, with grilled dishes or mushrooms.
