Domaine des Grouas

The Story

Domaine des Grouas was established in July 2022, at the confluence of the Anjou Noir and Anjou Blanc wine regions, in Martigné-Briand. This marks the very beginning of the adventure for this young estate. The 14 hectares of vines have been certified organic since 2018. Biodynamic practices are a goal, aiming to further enhance respect for living organisms and highlight the terroir. After an initial career in consulting and digital technology, Lionel changed course to pursue his lifelong passion: winemaking. With a BTS (Advanced Vocational Diploma) in Viticulture & Oenology from Marseille, Lionel worked in the Loire Valley, first at Domaine de Bellivière in Jasnières, then at Terre de l'Élu, and finally at Emmanuel Ogereau.
