This VDF rouge comes from a 70-year-old vineyard planted to Carignan and Grenache. It’s situated on a sandy hillside with a limestone bedrock. Whole bunch fermentation, long carbonic maceration, malolactic conversion and bottled like the other wines, without filtration. Alex says “Blaise d’Arbre is characterized by an aubergine red, without pronounced tannic structure with beautiful spices and a long, happy persistence”
