About this wine
“Brisat” is the old Penedès word for wine made on its skins. Azimut, the Suriol family’s organic négoce label, takes Parellada, Moscatel, Garnatxa Blanca and Sumoll Blanc from three corners of the Penedès and gives them five days of skin contact before aging in underground concrete. It’s golden-amber with orange blossom, honeysuckle and citrus peel, lively acidity, a gentle grip and a salty finish. It’s a great value orange wine. Pour it with tempura prawns, aged Manchego or pa amb tomàquet.
