Made using organically-farmed grapes sourced from their neighbour, Valerie Forgues, this is a beautiful expression of old-vine fruit (Forgues' vines are over 100 years old!). After hand-picking (much of which is done by the extended Puzelat family), the grapes are fermented with native yeasts and whole bunches in large, open-top vessels.
Six months in old oak adds texture before it's bottled without fining, filtering, and only the faintest dash of sulphur. A juicy, spicy, and ever-so-bright expression of a Loire classic.
