Domaine Chevrot Hautes Cotes De Beaune Rouge 2023

This organic Pinot Noir comes from four plots in Cheilly-lès-Maranges, at the southern tip of Burgundy’s famed Cotes-de-Beaune, on ancient rock and soil and gravel from the Cozanne and Dheune valleys. Aged for 18 months in neutral oak and stainless steel, the finished wine is positively luxurious and fresh.

Aromas of black cherry and strawberry blossom come right out of the glass, and develop into additional notes of blackberry, plum, forest floor and mulling spices against a mineral backbone.
