Nose of black raspberries, black cherries, spiced meats, a hint of fruitcake, a fine base of chalky soil, woodsmoke and a gentle framing of cedary oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, focused and tangy, with a lovely core of fruit, fine soil signature and grip, moderate tannins and a long, beautifully balanced and complex finish.
