Anders Frederik Steen Les Vignes des Enfants 2023 1.5 L

From a beautiful parcel of Petite Sirah planted over a complex terroir of blue marl in Valgrand. This year half of the fruit was destemmed, whilst the rest was pressed directly and the two infused for three weeks. After pressing, the wine remained in tank until the following spring, before being moved to demi-muids for a year of élevage. From a cooler vintage, this is fragrant with black fruit, olive and brine. Available only in magnum, this is no doubt the best vintage of this wine we have tried.
