The Plageoles family has been an influence on winemaking in the Gaillac region, dating all the way back to Romain's grandfather Robert.  Romain and Fanny are continuing that tradition in their own style.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Gamay goes through carbonic fermentation and sits in tank for 6-8 months. It is unfined and unfiltered with a small addition of sulfur at bottling.
