Inspired by the taste of the farmer’s wine. IL PINGRO comes from ‘il Pingrosso’, the name of the place where we are located. In the middle of the field is a large maritime pine tree that our great-grandfather planted to find some shade on hot summer days. This pine tree, which grew solitary, became a ‘big pine tree’ in width, hence the name Pingrosso. Shortened to Pingro, for simplicity’s sake.
