Shipping & Delivery Policy

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages. By placing your order you have represented to Wine Therapy that you are at least 21. All shipments of alcoholic beverages require an adult (at least 21 years of age) signature upon delivery.

Wine Therapy offers same-day local delivery seven days a week throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn with some locations requiring a pre-tax minimum. 

We stop delivering at 9:15 every night except Sunday, when we stop at 8:30.

Defective merchandise may be returned for exchange of equal value upon presentation of sales receipt, original bottle and enclosure. No cash, credit, or store credit can be issued.

We welcome customers outside of New York, but regulations prevent us from processing orders for shipment to the following states: Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Utah. Standard shipping rates apply.

Free Delivery Areas

Free delivery is available, although minimum orders apply (see delivery area map for more information.) For quick local delivery, place your order between 5 and 9:30 pm Monday through Friday or call us at (212) 625 2999. 

Other Deliveries in Manhattan and Brooklyn

For quick delivery outside of our free delivery zones we use a courier service. Orders outside the free delivery area in Manhattan below $200 (pre-tax) will incur a $25 delivery fee. Orders to Brooklyn that are below $300 (pre-tax) will incur a $35 delivery fee. We can offer lower cost shipping via UPS to any area outside our free delivery zones; packing fees may apply. Orders will be processed and shipped within 24 hours. Call us for details!

Deliveries to Other Areas in New York State

UPS rates apply and will be calculated at checkout. Our default is UPS Ground, but if you wish to ship using a faster method, please make a note using the Notes Regarding Order and we'll adjust the shipping method and cost when we process your order.

Shipping Details and Fine Print

The customer contracts with the carrier (generally UPS), whom Wine Therapy will engage on behalf of the customer. In the case of shipments outside New York State, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. If we are unable to ship to your area, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and suggest that shipping be arranged to a direct-shipping friendly state. Title on all wine passes to the buyer at the time of purchase in the state of New York. During times of extreme heat or cold, we will gladly hold your purchases until we can ensure safer travel. If you opt to have your order shipped during such extreme weather, you must assume all responsibility for the condition of your wines upon delivery.
